Caesarean Section

Most animals typically give birth without any difficulties. However, there are instances where mothers require assistance during delivery. Initially, we try to address the issue using medical treatments, but if those are ineffective, we may resort to performing a caesarean section.

During a c-section, the mother is administered an anesthetic. An incision is made in her abdomen and uterus to access the unborn puppies or kittens. In certain cases, we may advise spaying the mother during pet surgery, primarily to avert similar complications in the future.
