Congratulations on your new feline friend! We appreciate your choice in allowing us to assist in safeguarding and nurturing your newest family member.

Our wellness program for kittens is tailored to set your little one on a path toward a long and healthy life. The initial months are crucial for your kitten’s growth and development, and we’re here to provide you with the necessary support and resources to help them evolve into a well-adjusted and healthy adult cat. This includes guidance on nutrition, litter box training, and behavioral tips.

Please arrange for your kitten’s initial examination as soon as possible. It’s essential for your kitten to receive a series of vaccinations, as they are vulnerable to several serious but preventable illnesses. We will administer vaccines against rabies and panleukopenia (distemper). Based on your cat’s potential exposure, we may also recommend vaccinations for other diseases, such as feline leukemia virus (FeLV). Furthermore, your kitten will require testing and treatment for parasites, which are common in young cats.

Many kittens tend to have roundworms, which are intestinal parasites that can lead to symptoms like coughing, weight loss, and a swollen abdomen, though they might not show any signs at all. It is vital to treat kittens for roundworms, not just to alleviate their infection but also to protect you and your family from potential transmission. Roundworms are a zoonotic parasite, meaning they can spread from pets to humans. By ensuring your kitten receives proper treatment, you can help keep your entire household safe.

We are excited to meet your new kitten! Don’t hesitate to book your appointment today.
