Regular veterinary care is essential for the longevity and health of budgies, cockatiels, parrots, and songbirds. We offer a range of services, including nutritional guidance, health evaluations, grooming support, sex identification, fecal parasite testing, as well as medical and surgical care, and annual health checkups. We are also available to provide information on general care, disease prevention, safety, suitable housing, toys, and breeding practices. We suggest scheduling an initial checkup for your bird, followed by annual visits to monitor their health and catch any hidden signs of illness. Some birds may require more frequent examinations. During these checkups, we will assess your bird’s beak, nails, and feathers to see if they need specialized care. Regular visits can identify diseases and issues early, making them easier and less costly to treat. Signs that your bird may be unwell include improper grooming, a ruffled appearance, or missing feathers. Additionally, changes in eating or sleeping patterns, breathing difficulties, and abnormal droppings are concerning. Birds often conceal their health issues, so if you observe any unusual behavior or something feels off, please reach out to us promptly.
