Medical Assessment

dog medical assessment

To provide an accurate diagnosis, it’s crucial to closely examine your pet. Our medical evaluation begins with a thorough inspection of your pet’s eyes, ears, and skin, along with an assessment of their cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities. We may perform blood and/or urine tests as needed to assess the functions of your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, which includes evaluating the thyroid and adrenal glands. Depending on your pet’s specific situation, we may recommend further diagnostic tests such as x-rays, endoscopy, ultrasound, or biopsy.

If you think your pet might be ill, please contact us to schedule a medical evaluation. Based on the symptoms your pet is exhibiting, we may ask you to bring them in right away.
