Local Anesthesia

If your pet requires a minor surgical or diagnostic procedure, we may administer a local anesthetic to manage pain effectively. For instance, during a biopsy, where a small tissue sample is surgically extracted for examination, we commonly use a local anesthetic. This type of anesthetic induces a temporary loss of sensation in the specific area where the procedure occurs. In addition to the local anesthetic, we might also use a sedative or an anti-anxiety medication to help keep your pet calm throughout the procedure.
