Congratulations on welcoming your new puppy into your home! We appreciate your trust in us to assist in safeguarding and nurturing your new family member.
Our puppy wellness program aims to set your puppy on the path to a long and healthy life. The initial months are crucial in your puppy’s growth and development, and we are here to provide the guidance and resources needed to help them evolve into a well-behaved and healthy dog. This includes valuable insights and tips on nutrition, training, behavior, and socialization.
Please arrange for your puppy’s first examination as soon as you can. Until your puppy receives a series of vaccinations, they are vulnerable to various serious yet preventable illnesses. We will administer vaccines to protect your new dog from diseases such as rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, among others. Additionally, your puppy will need to be screened and treated for parasites, which are commonly found in young dogs.
A significant number of puppies are affected by roundworms, which are intestinal parasites that can lead to symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea (although some dogs may not exhibit any signs). It is crucial to treat puppies for roundworms, not only to eliminate the infection in your pet but also to protect you and your family from potential transmission. Roundworms are zoonotic parasites, meaning they can be passed from pets to humans. By ensuring that your puppy receives proper treatment, you can help keep your entire family safe from these and other parasites.
We are excited to meet your new puppy! Don’t hesitate to schedule your appointment today.
